I wonder how Americans would feel if they knew that just before the Olympics start, a theme park in Beijing still shows the Twin Towers standing in a NYC exhibit of mini models? Of course, for the record, that model was made and installed in 1995, long before 911......but the fact that they did not take it down out of respect is unbelievable........that was a Reuters photo on the wire yesterday from Beijing, photog named Reinhard Krause for Reuters and seen around the world via Reiters wires.....i am still in shock. I think the Chinese just don't understand the tragedy of it all, and that's because 911 was so far away and in the West,,,,still, with Olympics coming, shoiuldn't they take the Towers down now? If Mayor Bloomberg finds out, and i have emailed him today, he will be fuming! WOnder what Pres. Bush would say if he knew this when he goes to Beijing next month?
